These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of GoSignHere ("the Service"), operated by GoSignHere ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
GoSignHere is an electronic signature platform that allows you to upload documents, place signature fields, assign signers, and collect legally binding electronic signatures. The Service includes document management, signing workflows, digital signatures (PKCS#7), certificates of completion, document verification, and related features.
To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
If you create an account on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
By using GoSignHere to sign documents, all parties consent to the use of electronic signatures as a legally binding alternative to handwritten signatures, in accordance with the U.S. Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN Act) and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA).
Signers explicitly consent to conduct the transaction electronically before signing. This consent is recorded in the audit trail and certificate of completion.
You retain ownership of all documents you upload to the Service. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. We access your documents only to provide the Service.
Document retention: Documents associated with completed, declined, voided, or expired packages are retained for 30 days after the event, after which they are permanently deleted from our servers. Certificates of completion and audit trail records are retained separately for the life of your account.
You are responsible for maintaining your own copies of important documents. We recommend downloading completed documents and certificates promptly.
Completed documents are sealed with a PKCS#7 digital signature issued by GoSignHere and hashed with SHA-256. Anyone can verify the authenticity of a GoSignHere-signed document using our public verification page. Verification confirms that the document was signed through our platform and has not been modified since signing.
GoSignHere's signing certificate is self-issued and is not currently part of the Adobe Approved Trust List (AATL). Our verification is based on matching the document's SHA-256 hash against our records.
The Service offers free and paid plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. The billing unit is a "package" — one signing transaction, regardless of the number of documents or signers within it.
Monthly package allocations reset each billing cycle and do not roll over. Top-up packs, when purchased, persist until used and expire 12 months after purchase.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.
Certain paid plans include access to our developer API. API usage is subject to rate limits based on your plan tier. API keys are confidential and must not be shared publicly. We reserve the right to revoke API access for misuse or excessive usage.
Account owners can invite additional users to their account. The account owner is responsible for the actions of all users on their account, including compliance with these Terms and payment obligations.
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice when possible. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.
The Service, including its design, code, logos, and documentation, is owned by GoSignHere and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as intended.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoSignHere shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
GoSignHere does not provide legal advice. We provide a platform for collecting electronic signatures. You are responsible for ensuring that electronic signatures are appropriate and legally sufficient for your specific use case and jurisdiction.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GoSignHere from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use of the Service poses a risk to us or other users. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts located in Texas.
